Stephanopoulos Makes Throat-Cutting Gesture To Shut Up Trump Lawyer, Gets Torched

ABC news anchor George Stephanopoulos was caught red-handed making a throat-cutting gesture to cut away from Trump lawyer Jay Sekulow during live coverage of the Senate’s impeachment trial Thursday. He didn’t want Americans to hear what Sekulow was saying, and that’s why he was so adamant that ABC should immediately cut off the president’s attorney. That’s when Americans torched Stephanoplous in ways he won’t soon forget. You’ll love this.

George Stephanopoulos was caught doing what the mainstream media do best: prevent Americans from hearing anything pro-Trump. We live in a country where the majority of journalists are corrupt and are all about suppressing the truth. They have an agenda, and that agenda is driven by their hatred of President Donald Trump.

According to Tim Graham, executive editor of NewsBusters, Stephanopoulos was spotted on camera making the motion around 3:00 P.M. EST. The clip begins with a Capitol Hill reporter asking Sekulow for his thoughts on Attorney General William Barr, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC), and renowned lawyer Alan Dershowitz having previously made the argument that abuse of power is impeachable.

“We’ve got something very different from what you’re hearing up here,” Sekulow begins.

“We’ve got lawyers that will be put forward when our side of the case goes that represents multiple schools of thought on what is an impeachable offense,” the president’s attorney continues. “They have one thing in common: that the actions alleged and the actions of the president do not reach that level — no matter which school of thought you’re on.”

That’s when Stephanopoulos orders staff situated off-camera to end the broadcast’s feed by making a throat-slitting gesture. The ABC News anchor then segues into a panel segment to discuss the Trump lawyer’s comments.

George Stephanopoulos has a lot of experience in shutting down free speech.

The ABC News anchor got his start as Bill Clinton’s campaign advisor and that morphed into Stephanopoulos taking on the role of being the heavy who was tasked with shutting down the women who accused Clinton of sexual abuse.

During the Brett Kavanaugh debacle, Stephanopoulos attacked Trump claiming “he always takes the side of the men.” That’s when conservative strategist Chris Barron reminded the ABC anchor of his own past.

“Maybe ABC should have found someone with a little more credibility around this issue to ask these questions,” Barron said. “Factually, Stephanopoulos is also flat wrong. President Trump has been a high-profile defender of women like Juanita Broaddrick who were victimized by President Clinton and demonized by the mainstream media.”

Fox News host Mark Levin took to Twitter to express frustration at Stephanopoulos for the interview.

“Hey George, didn’t you always take the side of Bill Clinton against the myriad of women who accused him of sexual assault?” Levin asked. Poor George is on video saying, “Bill Clinton has no character problem.”

Americans also torched Stephanopolous for shutting down Jay Sekulow.

If you are a moderate or independent, you must realize how much the media lies, or worse what they do not tell you. This is an example of how they always try to hide the truth from you. #FridayLituations #DemocratsAreDestroyingAmerica #ImpeachmentTrial,” tweeted “Fight the Deep State.”

BUSTED TRYING TO SKEW THE TRUTH, BY CUTTING AWAY FROM @POTUS ATTORNEY JAY SEKULOW, TALKING TO MEDIA… #FakeNews George,” tweeted “Andrew C.”

“Stephanopolous is no journalist. He’s a democrat hack. He’s a complete joke. He’s not interested in both points of view. He will do anything to quash the Republican narrative. Typical ABC shenanigans. Didn’t Chris Wallace work there? Rest my case,” tweeted Twitter user “Big.”

“Totally not surprised .. they can’t hear the responses that will make them realize they’ve been publicly wrong for 3 years,” tweeted David Francis.

“These “commentators” on the Sunday morning political shows jump to change the subject or move on to the next question every time a Republican guest is starting to effectively rebut their question or are making strong points,” tweeted “RUINOROUT.”

More evidence @ABC is #FakeNews: Erstwhile Clinton operative George Steponallofus demands coverage CUT AWAY (see the ‘throat slash’ gesture he makes!) from an interview with @realDonaldTrump attorney @JaySekulow,” tweeted “Bob.”

Before converting from Democratic operative to news anchor, Stephanopoulos famously pushed back against rumors of Clinton’s infidelities and was once captured on film bullying a reporter into killing a story about one of Clinton’s affairs.

He also once told Sam Donaldson that stories about Clinton’s infidelity were the result of a “Republican attack machine” and chalked up Clinton’s affairs as “side issues” that Americans don’t care about.

Well, now Stephanopolous is once again shutting down the truth. Only this time he got caught red-handed. These Trump-haters in the media will try and shut down Jay Sekulow and Alan Dershowitz next week. That’s why it’s important all Americans are aware the enemies of truth can be found in the mainstream media, and no one can trust a word they say.
