Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) said even if President Donald Trump is acquitted in the Senate impeachment trial, she will not stop investigating. “We will not stop. I know we must continue with the work that our constituents have elected us to come to Congress to do,” she said. The 81-year-old Democrat claimed her “constituents” elected her to impeach Trump. Well, that’s why she got torched by American citizens. You’ll love this.

Representative Maxine Waters said on Sunday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Weekends” that even if President Donald Trump was acquitted by the Senate, House Democrats would not stop investigating him.

Witt said, “What about if the president is ultimately acquitted by the Senate? Do you see the house potentially taking up other articles of impeachment against him? You are the chair of the Financial Services Committee. There has been plenty of talk of emoluments clause violations. Might those potentially be stronger than what we’ve seen here, could that be taken up?

Waters said, “Let me just say this. All of us have the responsibility for oversight. Yes, I have subpoenaed documents from Deutsche bank. Yes, I am concerned about the financial affairs of the president of the United States, including money laundering. And I’m continuing with that. As a matter of fact, the subpoenas that I’ve issued that’s gone through the lower courts are now going to be heard at the Supreme Court in March. We will not stop. Whether or not that leads to another impeachment activity, I don’t know. But I know we must continue with the work that our constituents have elected us to come to Congress to do.”

Americans torched poor Maxine over her incredibly ridiculous remarks.

“Imagine my shock when Maxine said even if Trump is acquitted by Senate, House Dems will not stop their investigations of him. Said they must continue with the ‘work’ the constituents elected us to do. Work? What work? Wasting taxpayer’s time & $$?” tweeted “Me, Myself & I.”

“When does the investigation into Maxine Adam Schiff Dianne Feinstein Nancy Pelosi her nephew and her family when are those investigations going to happen,” tweeted “PJ for Trump.”

“‘He will be impeached forever. It cannot be erased. And if acquitted, he will be continuously investigated.’ That’s the political ploy of the Democrats as long as Trump is the President. TDS is a deadly disease that has infected the Democratic Party!” tweeted “Phil Mee.”

Dear Dumb-a$$ ⁦@DNC the more taxpayer $ you spend investigating Our President just because you’re jealous of him, the more supporters are going to drop you. It’s OUR $ – SPEND IT ON US! NOT YOUR JEALOUS RAGE,” tweeted Marci Newman Kitcho.

LMFAO! #CrazyAuntieMadMaxine is SCARED TO DEATH of HER OWN FILTH being found out! As long as @POTUS@realDonaldTrump is in the White House, ALL the Dems’ dirt will come out!” tweeted Clarence Clark.

“We believe you, you haven’t stopped investigating him since he announced his candidacy for president. You and your political party have devoted over three years to taking down a duly elected president. You’re pathetic, disgraceful and sickening!” tweeted Bill Weimer.

“This should make every American angry- Dems will continue to strike your voting power, whether by crook or hook. They need to be voted out as they’re only undermining the Constitution and are a disservice to citizens of USA,” tweeted “Andy’s Melon.”

The majority of Americans are not on board with removing Trump from office.

A Gallup poll shows the Republican Party firmly behind President Donald Trump as he faces impeachment, with 93 percent opposed to a Senate impeachment conviction and removal, and 51 percent of Americans overall agree.

Gallup led its reporting on its poll with Trump’s overall approval rating of 44 percent, a rating that has held steady in recent months.

“Forty-six percent of Americans say they would like their senators to vote to convict Trump and remove him from office, while 51 percent want their senators to vote against conviction so Trump will remain as president,” Gallup reports.

Meanwhile, the Democrats are running around feigning fake outrage that Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has promised a “kill switch” where after hearing opening arguments by both sides the Senate could take the vote to acquit. So, start popping the popcorn as the truth hits the Democrats square in the face.
