Whoopi & The View Slammed As Hardcore Liars, Fact-Checked After Don Jr. Debacle

Yesterday, Whoopi Goldberg and her crew of anti-Trump cohosts lost control and had massive meltdowns thanks to Donald Trump Jr. who they had invited to be a guest on their show. The sheer hysteria was at an all-time high as Goldberg and the other hosts attacked Trump Jr. Well, Whoopi and her crew just got fact-checked, which resulted in being publicly slammed as hardcore liars. You’ll love this.

The blatant lies coming from the mouths of Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and the rest of the shrews of The View are too numerous to count. They seem to exist in an alternate universe where all those suffering from severe Trump Derangement Syndrome seem to go.

However, we have found the shrews got fact-checked after yesterday’s show, and they were taken to task over the three biggest lies they told while interviewing, or should we say attacking, Donald Trump Jr.

“Over the course of several heated segments, [Don Jr.] endured blatant falsehoods from Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar and at least one false accusation from Sunny Hostin,” Daily Caller reports.

Joy Behar claims she never wore blackface.

It all started after Behar brought up the president’s comments about grabbing women’s genitalia that were released prior to the 2016 presidential election.

“We have all done things that we regret. If we’re talking about bringing the discourse down, Joy. You have worn blackface,” Trump Jr. stated before being cut off by both Goldberg and Behar, who denied the allegation.

“No, I have not. I have not,” Behar retorted looking utterly incensed.

“No, she was not in blackface,” Whoopi said with disgust. “Sorry, being black, I recognize blackface.”

But Behar admitted to wearing makeup that was “darker than my skin” for a Halloween costume years ago.

Whoopi Goldberg says they didn’t discuss impeachment the morning after President Donald Trump won the 2016 election.

“Well, it was a concerted effort by a lot of people to remove the duly elected president. Even on this show on November 9th,” Kimberly Guilfoyle stated.

“No, actually it wasn’t,” Whoopi said. “I know, I was here.”

But video from November 9, 2016 — just hours after the last votes came in and election results went public — it was Goldberg herself who floated impeachment as a possible recourse. “We can kick his ass out. You know, there is such a thing called impeachment,” she said.

Sunny Hostin claimed Trump Jr. committed a federal crime when he named the whistleblower.

Sunny didn’t just claim he committed a federal crime. She throws in her so-called “law degree” to impress us she really knows what she is talking about. She’s a big-time lawyer so you must believe her.

“I’m a former prosecutor,” Hostin said to Guilfoyle. “Did you advise your boyfriend that it is a federal crime to out a whistle-blower?”

“I didn’t advise him it’s a federal crime,” Guilfoyle responded. “I said, ‘I left you alone for ten minutes. What happened?’”

“It’s only a federal crime for the IG to do it,” Trump Jr. protested.

“That’s a lie. That’s not true,” Hostin insisted, claiming that it was a crime under U.S. Code Section 1505.

“It’s not accurate,” Trump Jr. pushed back.

My law degree says it is, but nevertheless —” Hostin trailed off.

Sunny Hostin is one of the worst when it comes to lying on this show. She routinely uses her “law degree” as evidence she is telling the truth. Unfortunately, Hostin lost any credibility she may have enjoyed by blatantly making statements like the one above.

Hostin’s claim Don Jr. committed a federal crime by tweeting an article about the whistleblower was planned ahead of time, which means she had every opportunity to refresh her recollection of the law. Harvard Professor Alan Dershowitz, Former U.S. Prosecutor Andy McCarthy, and other experts all agree it is not against the law to name the whistleblower.

“Contrary to what has become received wisdom (Democratic talking points peddled to the media tend to achieve that status), the law does not guarantee anonymity even to a statutorily qualified whistleblower,” McCarthy writes.

Even Dan Meyer, who is the former executive director of the intelligence community whistleblower program, told NPR, “There is no overarching protection for the identity of the whistleblower under federal law. Congress has never provided that protection.”

Additionally, the law Hostin cited had nothing to do with whistleblower protections, but rather addressed “Obstruction of proceedings before departments, agencies, and committees.” The Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989 is actually covered under 5 U.S. Code 2302 and the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act of 1998.

The View is unwatchable. There really is no debate about that. The fact that it remains on the air and must have people who watch it really boggles the mind. Only brain-dead Trump-haters who are still living in their mommy’s basement could regularly watch this show.

For the rest of us, it will be useful to show future generations the evidence Trump Derangement Syndrome turned into a severe disorder around 2019. At least, The View cohosts can say they will be remembered for something, and that would be the truth.
