Michelle Obama is back on her never-ending book tour. The former first lady made a stop in London, England with Trump-hater Stephen Colbert, and she should be regretting it now. The 55-year-old Obama laughed as she compared President Donald Trump’s presidency to “spending the weekend with a divorced dad…it feels like fun but then you get sick.” Well, immediately Michelle got scorched. You don’t want to miss this.

Michelle Obama’s book tour soured once she crossed the pond. That’s why the former first lady got her good buddy Stephen Colbert to travel to London, England and help her out. Appearing at the 02 Arena, Michelle once again bombed with an international crowd, as she just did in Copenhagen, Denmark.

In case you missed it, last week the 55-year-old was pumping her memoir Becoming in Denmark. The Danish women know a good book, and that’s why they were less than impressed with the former first lady, who they found to be boring and trite. Oh, and they also thought her $3500 dollar salmon color pantsuit was less than “becoming” on her 5’11” frame.

Not a fan of the suit. Plain ill-fitting cheap looking pink suit with splotches of glitter just randomly thrown on,” said Janice Shaw Crouse. Danish magazine Finans published all the gripes from attendees.

“Deputy Director of Dell Technologies, Anja Monrad, also had this review: ‘Like being forced into a really bad group of mothers,’ she writes about Michelle’s event.” The magazine summed up Obama’s appearance: “A good 11,000 had bought a ticket for the event at the Royal Arena – but on social media, the dominant position is that you did not miss anything if you did not attend Michelle Obama’s show.”

Coming off of those bad reviews, Michelle rolled into London with Stephen Colbert, hoping the late-night host and fellow Trump-hater would lighten up the event with some laughs. Instead, Michelle tried her hand at comedy, and it was a bust.

Colbert tried to cue Ms. Obama to a joke about Trump they obviously had rehearsed in advance. “America is like a teenager..,” said Colbert hoping to jar Michelle’s memory.

“We are a teenager, we talked about this,” said Obama pointing at the late-night funnyman. “And we come from a broken family. We’re a teenager, you know,” laughed Michelle. “We’re a little unsettled, you know, having good parents, you know, is tough,” said Michelle as she struggled to remember her lines. Colbert looked frightened.

“Sometimes you spend weekends with divorced dads, you know, it feels like its fun but then you get sick. That’s what America is going through, we’re kinda living with the divorced dad,” chuckled Michelle. The crowd waited until Colbert pretended to laugh his butt off, then they laughed not fully understanding what was so damn funny to the two Americans on stage.

Well, it was so obvious that Michelle Obama got her big joke about President Trump straight from the writers of the Stephen Colbert show, and just like Colbert’s career, it fell flat and angered many Americans.

“@MichelleObama ‘That [weekend with divorced dad] feels like fun but then you get sick.’ As a divorced dad, I do my best to raise my son into a kind of man of which we all can be proud. Your comment doesn’t help people see that I’m conscientious and competent to do a good job,” tweeted Jason Catena.

“Michelle Obama can go F off for her comments about divorced fathers. Kids don’t get sick of spending time with their fathers, they enjoy it. Maybe kids get sick of living with divorced mom too. Ignorant b*tch,” tweeted Aaron Longbine.

“@MichelleObama I resent the fact that you call America ‘the divorced dad’ my husband is a divorced dad and is amazing, loving, and caring to his children, especially when they are sick!” tweeted “Jomamma2015.”

Michelle woke up to many comments scorching her for the attempt at a bad Trump joke as she alienated all divorced fathers with the ridiculous remarks. Maybe next time the former first lady could come up with a few facts to back up her claims that America is doing so poorly.

Can she point to the economy? Nope,  Trump’s economy has been breaking records. Unemployment is at all-time lows not seen for 60 years, including historic lows for African-Americans, Hispanics, and women. Maybe it’s foreign policy? Nope, Obama told Trump his worst nightmare was North Korea, and our president did what no other president has ever done with Kim Jong-un.

On every front, America is stronger. It took Obama eight years to destroy our economy and our standing in the world, and in just two years, Trump has brought us back from the brink of utter destruction. All Michelle Obama has got are lies, and Americans aren’t buying those lies anymore.
