What the mainstream media news isn’t telling you is the real reason she’s calling for it now and what this exactly means going forward. Well, the truth is President Donald Trump just won round one in this impeachment war as he made Pelosi and Adam Schiff blink first. You’ll love this.
The mainstream media tells us that Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff are conducting an “impeachment inquiry” in the basement on Capitol Hill. They are hoping you forget that the only modern-day impeachment proceedings are started by a live debate on the House floor followed by a full vote.
They also hope you don’t remember before they ever moved to have a live debate or take a full House vote, both Presidents Richard Nixon and Bill Clinton had been thoroughly investigated for the alleged crimes by formal independent counsels agreed upon bipartisanly. Those investigations actually found crimes committed by Nixon and Clinton. Both presidents had legal counsel present, too.
The Democrats and the leftist media are also banking that you don’t put the pieces together that the Mueller investigation was going to be that “independent counsel” before a full House impeachment vote, but it didn’t pan out. They found no crimes. So, that’s why they had to scramble and find “new crimes” to pin on Trump.
With only one year until the next election, they hope you don’t notice they didn’t call for an unbiased independent counsel investigation into the Ukraine phone call and so-called “crimes.”
They really hope you do not figure out the reason they did not call for another independent investigation or special counsel into the Ukraine phone call was simply that would take longer than a year, and also they got burned by Mueller who found no crimes.
It’s better for the Democrats to pretend they have the power to investigate Trump for impeachment. This has never been about impeaching Trump, this is about dirtying up the president ahead of the 2020 election.
Whenever we have explained all this to Democrats across the country, they become incensed and attack us. They realize this is the truth.
These Democrat supporters may attack us, but they are really angry at the Democrat leaders. No one wants to be on the wrong team. Sadly, the Democrats who support this bogus impeachment will go down as being the real criminals on the wrong side of history.
Which brings us to Nancy Pelosi’s latest move: calling for a full House vote on impeachment. “This would be the first formal vote on the new impeachment process by the House since Pelosi threw her support behind an inquiry in September,” The Hill reported.
Speaker Pelosi won’t answer direct questions about this full House vote. Instead, she is sending out her lemming, Rep. Jim McGovern, chairman of the House Rules Committee, to be her fall guy.
“As committees continue to gather evidence and prepare to present their findings, I will be introducing a resolution to ensure transparency and provide a clear path forward,” McGovern said in a statement. “This is the right thing to do for the institution and the American people.”
So, why are they doing this now? Schiff ran out of Trump-haters who would voluntarily come and testify in front of their impeachment farce, that’s why.
Up until now, Schiff’s witnesses have been Barack Obama holdovers or GOP Never Trumpers mostly from the State Department who claimed to have knowledge about Ukraine-U.S. foreign policy. On Monday, Shifty Schiff was crying about people not complying with his so-called subpoenas to testify.
“Schiff also told reporters that Charles Kupperman — who skipped a Monday morning deposition and is seeking a judge’s ruling on whether he has to testify — may be held in contempt of Congress,” Politico reports.
“A private citizen cannot sue the Congress to avoid coming in when they are served a lawful subpoena,” Schiff whined, which is another bald-faced lie.
As we previously reported, Adam Schiff’s so-called subpoenas carry no power. Why? He has no real impeachment proceedings. The Democrats can’t unilaterally investigate and impeach Trump. The first step is taking a full House vote to initiate the impeachment proceedings, which then gives them subpoena power.
Former U.S. Prosecutor Andy McCarthy pointed this out way back on October 3. McCarthy used the example of Schiff subpoenaing Mike Pompeo to his impeachment inquiry, and Pompeo refused to show up. McCarthy calls these fake subpoenas “letters,” since they carry no legal weight.
“Moreover, there are no subpoenas. As Secretary Pompeo observed in his fittingly tart response on Tuesday, what the committee chairmen [Schiff] issued was merely a letter,” McCarthy states. “It’s huffing and puffing notwithstanding, the letter is nothing more than an informal request for voluntary cooperation. Legally, it has no compulsive power. If anything, it is rife with legal deficiencies.”
And as McCarthy predicted several weeks ago, Schiff will lie to the American people and say they have to take the vote on “rules” because Trump is “obstructing justice, obstructing Congress.”
“The Democrats’ media scribes note [Schiff’s] admonition that any failure by Pompeo to comply ‘shall constitute evidence of obstruction of the House’s impeachment inquiry.’ What a crock,” McCarthy adds.
Now, Pelosi is bringing this for a vote, but don’t be fooled. This isn’t the vote to make this a fair and legal proceeding.
“Speaker Pelosi is holding a vote, a resolution, to affirm her previous declaration of a House ‘inquiry,'” Conservative Treehouse reports. “The resolution is currently being written by Lawfare. Pelosi is not delivering a House ‘Resolution on Impeachment’ for a vote, because if she did hold a vote on an impeachment resolution, the minority and the Executive branch would gain rights therein.”
This is a House vote to show support for Pelosi’s previous unilateral decree. Right now the rules committee is adding language to the resolution that will provide additional one-sided support for a completely partisan process.

President Trump called their bluff, and they blinked first.
Trump and his team of attorneys gamed this scenario out in the very beginning. By the president informing his administration to not comply with the phony subpoenas, they knew eventually Schiff would run out of Trump haters to be his witnesses and they would be forced to make another ridiculous move.
Pelosi is shooting herself in the foot by calling for this fake vote on the fake impeachment inquiry. This is what happens when you begin to lie, you build that tangled web of lies that eventually catches up to you.
The media will lie about this too. They will try and sell it like the real deal. However, Trump supporters won’t buy what the Democrats are selling.
So, stay tuned. This farce is all the Democrats got. They truly believe they have zero chance to defeat Trump in 2020, and this impeachment clown show is the only way they think gives them half a chance. Desperate times call for desperate measures including lying to the American people.
